May Glossybox Review

So recently, I decided to re-activate my Glossybox subscription.
I was very un-satisfied with Aprils box, but I just received my May box, and boy was it amazing!

Like an early Birthday Present!

I was super excited to open this box, and I wasn't disappointed.  I personally have to claim that this is by far the best Glossybox I've received.

Read the reviews after the jump ^^

Jelly Pong Pong:
Fairy Lashes Mascara
Full size

First of all, I would like to elaborate on how amazing this product is!
Never in my life have I used a mascara that has visually altered the appearance of my lashes to a flattering state.

Usually when I use a "lengthening" mascara it clumps my lashes together and doesn't give the desired finish.
This however does exactly what it was made to do.

This mascara retails at £15.
I personally feel that this is slightly too high for a mascara, but that probably because I'm so use to bargains and I'm living on Student finance :').
However, if I was working and did have the money to spend on this product, I definitely would.

Headline Colours:
Twisted Silk Polish
Full size

I really love receiving nail polish in my Glossybox, because they usually come from brands that I don't own!
I was slightly disappointed with the colour I received, but only because its similar to the last colour I received from Glossybox.
I have to admit that this is an amazing product.
I've already used this in one of my latest nail designs and all it took was two coats to reach full opacity.

The best part is that Headline Colours is Big 3 Free.  This means that it is formulated without the use of Toluene, DBP and Formaldehyde.

I personally would love to try more of this brands colours, preferably a darker one, so I can see how consistent the polish finish is.

This product retails at £9, and for the size of the bottle, I feel that you definitely get your money's worth.

Caudalie:
Divine Oil
Sample size

At the moment, I am slightly wary of what I use on my skin, as I have recently had a bad break out of psoriasis.  However, for the purpose of this blog post, I have tried this out!

I should first mention that even though I love skin products such as creams, lotions, oils, etc. I hate the feeling of them on my skin.  I think this derives from all the medical creams I've had to lather my skin in in the past :').

Okay, back to reviewing:
I first want to comment on the fragerance of this oil.  It smells absolutely divine, although I'd expect nothing less from a product with the word divine in it.

The oil is rather thick and I only needed to use the slightest amount for large coverage.

This product left my skin feeling silky smooth and actually helped dry areas of my skin.

The best part of this product is that it can be used on all areas of your body, including your face, hair and nails.  It can also be used in a bath and as massage oil.

I recently bleached my hair again, and because I'm an idiot and didn't leave enough weeks between bleaching, my ends became dry and damaged.  I used a small amount of this oil and massaged it into my ends.  The following day, my ends felt more healthy and less brittle.

This product retails at £27 and I can understand why.  I would recommend this product to those who have the money to buy it, but at the same time, I feel that there are other products in the market that cost less and can give the same benefits as this.

L'Occitane En Provence:
Angelica Hydration Cream
Sample size

The first thing I wish to comment on with this product is that the fragrance is so beautiful.  It's definitely something worth waking up to in the morning.

The idea of this cream is to used it twice a day, after cleansing and toning.  Again, at the moment, I'm trying to relax more on my skincare regime as I am using specific creams to clear my psoriasis, but for the sake of beauty, I had to try this.

It feels amazing on the skin.  My face felt so fresh and was left feeling really soft and smooth.  You only need the smallest amount to fully cover your face and neck and it drys in rather quickly.

I can't think of any negatives of this product, although I wish that the sample size had of been slightly bigger.

The full sized product retails at £30, which I feel is rather steep a price.  I'm a religious user of Nivea skin products and I personally feel that Nivea's creams and moisturisers are of the same caliber as this product, and they retail at under £10 too.

Beautiful Movements Cosmetics:
Prime & Create Mixing Medium
Sample size

This is the final product that I received in my box.  To be honest, at first I didn't even notice it in my box.  It was only when I was removing the shredded paper from my box that I found this product.

First of all, my impressions of the packaging is extremely low.  I would have at least expected a brand logo of some sort on the tub.

Secondly, the size of this sample is actually beyond a joke.  This is a multipurpose product and can be used as a primer, foundation changer and even as a gel liner when eye shadow pigments are mixed with it.

In order to fully test this product for all of its uses, I feel that a larger sample should have been provided.

I used this to prime my eyes for eye makeup and although it proved to be a great primer, there is not enough left to use for other purposes.

The full sized product retails at £20 and to be quite honest, I would not be willing to pay that much for it.

This was definitely the worst product I received this month.
